For this aim, asurvey study has been conducted on all officers of the Elazığ Regional ForestryDirectorate. T-test and variance analysis have been done for determining ifthere are differences or not between the groups. The average job satisfactionscores of the officers were compared by numbers of children, working years, agegroups, education levels, task positions in the units, marital status andgender, but there was not any statistically significantdifferences. Whencomparing by the income groups, there was statistically significant difference.It has been found that the score of job satisfaction scale has increased whenemployees’ incomes (their wages) has increased. The obtained results areevaluated all, discussed and some suggestions were made for enhancingalternative solutions that can increase their job satisfaction levels. CR - Bal J., & Gundry J. (1999).
