N2  - As a source of human capital, the educationalinstitution serves as the key to economic development by providing qualifiedworkforce. On the other hand, human development positively affects socialdevelopment by raising the level of living with contributions made by socialrefinement and life giving. The aim of this study, which is based on the dataand information obtained by the literature review, is to examine and evaluatethe relationship between education and development in the light of the datarelated to various countries. For this purpose, the relationship betweeneducation and development; the effects of education on development and theindicators of education and development of various countries. As a result ofthe study, the effect of change by providing the adaptation of the individualsto the changing world, the effect of employment by providing the continuousimprovement by raising the qualified labor force, the income effect by bringinghigher income to the individuals with higher education level, the effect of thequality of life by improving the technology effect and social life by raisingthe technology producing brains, it is the result of the source of development.In addition, it is seen that there is a harmonious relationship betweeneducational status and social and economic development levels of the variouscountries examined by comparing social and economic indicators.
