N2  - The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between social anxiety andattachment styles of adolecents. The study group consisted of 258 high school students. As thedata collection tool of the research, the Relationship Scales Questionnaire, Social Anxiety Scaleand the personal information form were used. In addition to Social Anxiety and Attachmentstyles, whether social anxiety changes or not according to descriptive characteristics were alsoanalyzed. The analyses revealed that there was a significant relationship between social anxietyand attachment styles; the social anxiety levels of adolescents did not change with respect to thegender variable, but varied with the educational level of parents and the degree of satisfactionwith the attention and affection of the father.
