It is located mostly in the liver and lung. Although cardiac involvement of Echinococcus granulosus is infrequent (0.02-2%), involvement of the interatrial septum has also been reported in literature. The present case was a 75 year-old woman admitted to our clinic with complaints of dispnea, productive cough, and chest pain. Multiple hydatid cysts of different lung localizations and interatrial localization were diagnosed by computed tomography, interatrial localization was confirmed by echocardiography, and supported by indirect hemagglutination (IHA) for echinococcus. The patient did not accept operation of interatrial hydatid cyst, and medical therapy was started with albendazole.}, number={2}, publisher={Ege University}
