The sample of the research consists of 184 students having education at sophomore, junior and senior levels daring 2015-2016 academic year Spring semester in the Department of Pre-school Teacher Training the Faculty of Education at the Girne American University (TRNC). “The Scale of Professional Attitude” developed by Çetin (2006), and "The Scale of Professional Self-confidence” developed by Akın (2007) were used as data collection tools in the study. Mann Whitney U Test was used in inferential statistics on the sub-objectives of the study and the analysis of gender variable, on the other hand Kruskal Wallis H Test was used in analyzing the variables such as class level and parental education level, in the case of a significant difference, The Mann Whitney U Test was used again in the binary comparisons to determine the groups from which the difference is originated. According to the research findings; the self-confidence of the students and their attitude towards Professional were examined according to the variables of gender, class, mother and father education levels. The attitudes of the students towards the teaching profession showed a statistically significant difference between groups except parental education level (p <0.05); the level of self-confidence of the same students showed a statistically significant difference only in terms of classroom change (p <0.05); in addition, a positive relationship was found between students’ self-confidence and professional attitudes. </span> <span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-ansi-language:TR;mso-fareast-language: EN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA">  </span> <br> </p>}, number={3}
