This situation also makes safety precautions on the railways important. For this purpose, in this study,  the tram transportation system which has an important place of rail transport systems may threated by the most common risks that intentionally or unintentionally falling on the rails, the possible objects/people detection in front of the tram or rails may tram derailed or caused accidents, therefore  these situations  detection was carried out. In order to be working in real time, Bursa Durmazlar Machinery Industry Co., Ltd. produced a tram was used as the test vehicle. In this study, class-1 laser signal used  in a tram which harmless to human health and scanned objects screened in two-dimension with horizontal plane.. As a result laser scanner system integrated with tram security system and, obtained images showed by interface on the driver’s screen.
