For this purpose, different acidified extraction solvents such as water ( <i>ES1 </i>), acetone ( <i>ES2 </i>), acetonitrile ( <i>ES3 </i>), methanol ( <i>ES4 </i>) and ethanol ( <i>ES5 </i>) were used in extraction process of strawberries. The effects of different extraction solvents on the antioxidant activity were evaluated by measuring the </span> <span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;" lang="en-us" xml:lang="en-us">reducing power, </span> <span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;" lang="en-us" xml:lang="en-us">2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid ( </span> <span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;" lang="en-us" xml:lang="en-us">ABTS) radical scavenging activity, </span> <span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;" lang="en-us" xml:lang="en-us">1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl </span> <span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;" lang="en-us" xml:lang="en-us">(DPPH) </span> <span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;" lang="en-us" xml:lang="en-us">radical scavenging activity </span> <span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;" lang="en-us" xml:lang="en-us">, total flavonoid content (TFC) and total phenolic content (TPC). </span> <span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;" lang="en-us" xml:lang="en-us">Experimental results indicated that the obtained data varied with different extraction solvents.
