AB  - 19. yüzyılda Osmanlı devletinde gazeteler ortaya çıkmaya başlamış ve gazetelerdeçalışan ve bu mesleği icra eden bir gazeteciler topluluğu oluşmuştur. Devringazetelerinde devletin güncel iktisadi ve siyasi politikaları hakkında görüşler önesüren kişilerin ortaya çıkmasıyla devlet politikalarının halka duyurulmasında vehalkın bu konularda haberdar olmasında önemli gelişmeler yaşanmış ve bağımsızbir kamuoyunun oluşması sağlanmıştır. Dönemin gazetecileri devletin iktisadi vesiyasi politikalarını sorgulayarak devlet politikalarını tenkit etmiş ve çeşitli önerilergetirmiştir. Gazetelerde devletin politikalarını sorgulayan gazetecilerden biri deAli Suavi’dir. Suavi Muhbir’de yazılar kaleme almış aynı zamanda devrin önemlicamilerinde halka vaazlar vermiştir. Suavi, yazılarında devletin politikalarınısorgulayan ve bürokratları eleştiren bir üslup kullanmış, bu hususta çözümleröne sürmüştür. Suavi, makalelerinde devletin iktisadi sorunları hakkında düşünceleriniaçıklamıştır. Bu çalışmada Suavi’nin sürgünde çıkarttığı Muhbir ve Ulumgazetelerindeki Osmanlı’nın ekonomi sorunları hakkındaki görüşleri verilmiştir.Ali Suavi’nin, gazetede görüşlerin ana amacı bürokratların yürüttüğü ekonomikpolitikalarının yanlışlığını dile getirmek ve öne sürdüğü görüşlerle devletin ekonomikkalkınmasını bir an önce sağlanmasına çalışmak olmuştur.

N2  - In the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century, the newspapers were started to comeout and a journalists association was formed by whom worked in these newspapersand professed journalism. As figures suggesting views on current economic policyand politics showed up, there have been significant developments in the publicannouncement of state policies and in the public awareness of these issues. As aresult, an independent public opinion was established. The journalists of the periodquestioned the economic and political policies of the state. They criticized thesepolicies and brought forward proposals to bureaucrats. One of the journalists whoquestioned the state policies was Ali Suavi. Writing on Muhbir, Suavi sermonized topublic in the important grand mosques of the period as well. In his writings, Suaviused a style that questioning the state’s policies and criticizing the bureaucrats andoffered solutions in this respect. Suavi explained his thoughts on state’s economicproblems. Published on Muhbir and Ulum newspapers while he was on an exile,Suavi’s views on Ottoman’s economic problems were presented on this study. Ali Suavihas tried to express the mistake of the economic policies carried out by the mainpurpose bureaucrats of the views of the newspaper and to try to make the economicdevelopment of the state as soon as possible with the views he put forward.
