Showcase is the prominent furniture that gives thedifferentiating characteristics to each Turkish home. In addition to that theshowcase with its objects that gives clues about personal information. Althoughshowcase is a common item in the homes of the elderly, it is becoming more andmore rare among the in younger generations. This research aims to understandthe dominant role of showcase Turkish homes in Konya and the meanings that are associatedwith it.
