N2  - Turkish is very rich in terms of type of verb phrases; there are a lot of fields of study related to verb roots. In terms of operating system, history and structure Turkish has a lot of functional features and these should be examined more closely. In this study, a little more than one-third of the root verbs in Turkish that make up their roster were analyzed and the resulting data was classified in terms of structure and meaning. Attention was drawn to a point that wasnt encountered in the research on Turkish before and tidy data was presented to the researchers of the field. During Turkish some of the words that are root verbs derived in its entirety have been identified and by opening a separate heading in root verbs subject, these can be shown as derived root verbs under this title. Derived verb roots were discussed in terms of meaning and structural features and these were classified according to the number of roots sound. Meaning features were separated in three parts and the number of meaning of the words was taken in to consideration. In addition to this, derived root verbs expressed mental processes in the meaning properties were shown under a separate heading. The primary objective of the study, detailed review hasnt done because of setting on building data and having a lot of data, generalizations were enough for them. The scope, method and results of the study have a unity in itself and it is hoped that it will attract the attention of the researchers of the field.
