In this cross-sectional study, 1372 people aged 18 years or older who were referred to some family health centers in Ankara were administered. Questionnaire form was applied by face-to-face method. Chi-square, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used in the statistical analysis. The data were presented as median (min, max) and frequency distribution. Statistical significance was accepted as p <0.05.  56,4% of the participants were women and 68,6% were married. The scale score according to the census was significantly higher in women than in men In the wards, the scale score was found to be 98,0 (33,0-125,0), and for males it was 82,0 (25,0-125,0). Gender inequality is a serious public health problem. The number of scientific researches about gender inequality should be increased all over the country. <b> <o:p> </o:p> </b> </span> </p>}, number={2}, publisher={Tuncay AYDEMİR}
