N2  - Education policies has a multi-dimensional character that directly affect the future of the country. Making fundamental changes in the field of education as language, learning environment and teacher in Turkeys enterprise, continues to be the desire to have a break away from the Ottoman education system. This goal especially Republican ideology embraced in subsequent years, considering the fact that sustained by political parties and were continued as one of the indispensable policy. But on the other hand, the request a sharp break from the past in the field of education to create dissatisfaction in as a part of a permanent source of controversy, and has some problems at conservatives. Turgut Özal's Motherland Party after the 1980 military coup in Turkey in environments where power alone, as in every field, there were serious problems in education. Therefore, the Motherland Party in the country, as in many areas in the field of education has initiated some reforms. Turgut Özal who has civil, conservative, tolerant and democratic personality,  has made many revolutionary areas at economic, political, cultural and social changes. Under the leadership of Turgut Özal in the party program to perform the transformation of the education system had to be held. For this, education policy has been created and attempted reforms considered. Özal's imagination to create the type of individual that the curriculum was tried to change in accordance with their policies. Curriculum have been changed in the direction in order to create the type of individuals that have imagined by Özal. During this period, type of school in Turkey from all levels in the school were opened. Before non-school types in Turkey and the opening of private universities have been serious reforms in the education system. In this period of the reforms, which then opens the door to the government and create a reference point that is seen. As the beginning of today education policy in Turkey is said to be that is effective of period of Özal. The increase in the year progresses, with increased services is the most important evidence that Ozal period.
