N2 - In this research, the effect of Project-based learning approach at the forth class social science on the attitude of visual presentation practices and is searched. The research is done forth year pupils in the primary school at 2006-2007 academic year with 44 pupils from 4-B as experimental group and 44 pupils from 4-A as control group from Engin Can Primary School in Istanbul, Esenler. While the experimental group courses were taught by Project-based learning apporach, the control group courses were taught by the traditional teaching method. In the research, Visual Presentation Attitude Scales for the pupils visual presentation practices attitude was used to gather data. Also Personel Knowledge Form is used to know pupils sexuality, mother-father education level, number of brother and sister. This research was formed as non equalized control model from semi-experimental models. Chi-square, frequency and t-test were applied on data, and they were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0. Research findings are explained below: 1. There is a meaningful difference for visual presentation attitude in favour of the experiment group between the experimental group whom were taught by Project-based learning and the control group whom were taught by the traditional teaching method (p.05). 3. The effect of Project-based learning on visual presentation practice attitude is not differentiated by the number of brother and sister (p>.05). 4. The effect of Project-based learning on visual presentation practice attitude is not differentiated by the level of mother education (p>.05). 5.
