N2  - Terrorism is premeditated actions of violence and threat by individuals or sub-national groups to influence and   intimidate masses in order to reach political or social objectives. However terrorism is an unknown tactic which happens when and where, threatens the humanity, there is no common definition of it in international law. Some define it based on perpetrators, others on their objectives and others on their methods. Due to the differing definitions based on objectives, methods and the perpetrators, a consensus could not be reached in international law, regarding what terrorism really is. In this study, different definitions of terrorism made by various organs, its varying objectives and methods, and factors that give rise to terrorism will be examined.
