N2  - Social structure is the set of relations embedded and organized in societies, which is the source of significant clues about the people in a given community. It is always possible to analyze the social structure of a community to have an understanding of the present and potential problems for corrective purposes. The analysis of the social structure, if conducted objectively, functions as the identity of that society. In this study, the social structure of the depicted period in Kemal Tahirs Parting Ways will be analyzed within the framework of the social and political environment of the time. In the light of this analysis, it is aimed to examine the circumstances under which the Republican Party was founded as a second attempt at multi-party system and how these social, cultural and political changes reflect on the society.
