The process of product size recognition is conducted by the help of diffuse reflection photoelectric sensors. The most feasible automation system for MHS is sought. At MHS, firstly, an analog circuit defines the products sizes; later on product size is determined by using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Product distribution is carried on regarding the determined sizes. A transmitter and receiver of the through-beam photoelectric sensor checks product existence at the entrance of MHS. If a product exists, the system starts automatically. When the size of product has been recognized, the product is distributed to the defined places by pneumatic pistons.
