N2  - Standard forms are first introduced in 50’s, and then this subject is again draw attention in the present days, due to advances in the computer technology. In this paper, an optimal PI-PD controller design method for a three pole with none zero system has been realized using standard forms. Comparisons of the presented and some well known method’s results are given in the examples to show the robustness of the method.
