N2  - In buildings most of energy consumption is consumed by climatization applications. It is possible to decrease energyconsumption in buildings by using the energy efficiently. Building insulation, using energy efficient home appliances, renewableenergy applications in buildings are some of the many efficiency increasing precautions as well as using heat energy by storagethat also decreases building energy comsumption. To this end, in this study, heat energy storage methods; storage in fluids,storage in solids, seasonal storage, chemical storage and energy storage in phase change materials and the points to receiveattention in the choice of these methods are stated
