Statistical average wind speed and power density were calculated by using Weibull, Rayleigh, statistical lognormal and gamma distribution functions that have not been used before in this region. Least squares method that has a smaller standard deviation was used to determine the parameters of distributions. Root mean square error (RMSE) and mean square error (MSE) criteria were used in the comparison of distribution performance. The average wind speeds were observed lower in February and March, higher in November and December. When the MSE and RMS values examined Weibull distribution is more reliable than other methods. The lowest MSE value 0.0011 is calculated probability distribution of March.
