N2  - Adding extracurricularactivities to the classroom activites were offered in the curriculum in theyear 2004. Science Centers are one of those places outside the schools where anindividual has both mental and physical practices. Planning the field trips to ScienceCenters by associating them to the objectives of the subject gives someimportant opportunities to make the visits more efficient. The hands-onexhibits in Science Centers give also some opportunities to the students toconstruct the knowledge in Science lessons and make the abstract concrete.Based upon those ideas, it is aimed to give an example activity by usingWhispering Dishes Exhibit at Feza Gürsey Science Center in this study. In the preparedlearning activity, a game on Whispering Dishes has been designed and thus constructinga meaningful understanding of science content ‘sound’, which takes place indifferent stages of the Science, is aimed. Thus, by offering a learningactivity that can be put into practice during a trip to Science Centers, it is alsoaimed to use Whispering Dishes Exhibit more efficently, to set an example for the activities whichcan be done in Science Centers and to give an idea to the teachers.
