Material and Methods: Thirty gynaecologic cancer patients randomly were assigned for evaluation. Socio-demographic assessments were made, moreover, occupational performance and satisfaction were assessed with Canadian Occupational Performance Measurement (COPM), community participation was determined by World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0 (WHO-DAS 2) and quality of life was determined by Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-General test (FACT-G). Frequencies were calculated with descriptive analysis. The relationship between the variables was evaluated with “Pearson’s correlation analysis”. Results: Of the 30 (mean age 54.96±10.52 years) patients, 76.7% had ovarian, 3.3% had cervix and 20% had endometrial cancer. According to COPM, 19% declared that the hardest activity was to visit neighbours. A positive correlation was found between occupational performance and community participation (r= .442, p<0.05) as well as quality of life (r=.403, p<0.05 ). Occupational satisfaction scores were found to be positively correlated with quality of life scores (r= .458, p<0.05). conclusion: Our results demonstrated that as occupational performance and satisfaction levels decreased, quality of life and community participation decreased. Therefore, during the occupational rehabilitation of the patient with cancer, evaluating the personal and environmental factors for self-care, productivity, leisure activities; planning and implementing interventions are important for increasing the quality of life and community participation UR - https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/ered/issue//369569 L1 - https://dergipark.org.tr/en/download/article-file/388574 ER -
