AB  - AMAÇ: Araştırmamızın örneklemini (m-devlet) hizmeti sunan 89 belediyeoluşturmaktadır. M-devlet hizmeti sunan bu belediyelerin m-devlet hizmetdüzeylerini etkileyebilecek çeşitli sosyo-demografik etmenlerin neler olduğu vebu etmenlerin m-devlet hizmeti düzeylerini ne kadar etkileyebileceğiaraştırılmıştır. Bulgular saydamlık ve kalite yönetim sistemleri haricinde diğeretmenlerin etkili olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Sofistike uygulamaların sayısıoldukça azdır. Ayrıca 2951 belediyeden sadece 89’unun (% 3,01) m-devlethizmeti sunuyor olması da bu hizmetin yeterince bilinmediğini göstermektedir.Özel sektörün, özellikle de bankaların, m-hizmet kullanım ve bu hizmet türününgün geçtikçe vatandaşlar tarafından yaygın bir şekilde kullanılıyor olması,belediyelerin bu konuyu ciddiye almaları gerektiğine işaret etmektedir.YÖNTEMLER:  BULGULAR:  SONUÇ

N2  - OBJECTIVE: The sampling of our research is consisting of 89 municipalities. We researchedthe socio-economic factors which may have some impact on the sophistication ofm-government levels of those municipalities. Except transparency and qualitymanagement systems other factors are found to be effective. On the other handthe quantity of more sophisticated service provisions is low. Besides, out of 2951municipalities only 89 (3.01 %) were providing m-government applicationsduring the time of research. This may be interpreted that most of the Turkishmunicipalities are not aware of the promise of m-technologies. The sophisticationlevel of private sector, banks in particular and the high take-up rate of these bythe customers can be good examples for municipalities.METHODS:  RESULTS:  CONCLUSION
