N2 - This research was carried out to determine the adaptation ability of twelve potato varieties in Erzurum ecological conditions during years 2005 and 2006. The experiment was established as a randomized complete block design with 3 replicates. Genotypes were examined like total tuber yield, plant high, stem numbers per plant, tuber number per hill, tuber yield per hill. Average values of the highest plant high was obtained from the genotype Haymana (70.4 cm); the highest stem numbers per hill was obtained from the genotype Horizon (5.7 number); the highest tuber number per hill was obtained from the genotype Lady Rosetta (11.5 number); the highest per hill and total tuber yields were obtained from the genotypes Cycloon (556.4 g hill-1 and 2271.0 kg da-1) and Van Gogh (510.9 g hill-1 and 2085.4 kg da-1) from two years.
