N2  - This study was aimed to test the change of monthly cumulative ETo series from reference evapotranspiration (ETo) predicted for each month using FAO56 Penman-Monteith relationship in Konya and Karaman provinces. In this reason, the parametric (Unit Root) and nonparametric (Mann-Whitney U and Levene) tests were applied to the cumulative ETo series obtained by using meteorological components measured from 1975 to 2006 for Konya and from 1975 to 2009 for Karaman in Konya and Karaman meteorology stations. The unit root test results showed that there was no trend in the cumulative ETo series from January to march for Konya and from January to may for Karaman. While the nonparametric tests applied to the cumulative ETo series of the months having trend confirmed the unit root test results for some months, these tests also showed for some months that there was no difference in terms of median and variance
