Soil and rice samples were collected from 42 stations in spring season of 2012. Manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn) and nickel (Ni) concantrations were determined and “Cluster Analysis” and “Pearson Correlation Index” were applied to detected data. Also Bioaccumulation Factors (BAF) of rices were calculated for all investigated stations. All the detected data were evaluated according to “Soil Pollution Control Regulation” and “Turkish Food Codex”. According to data observed, the highest BAF values of rices were recorded for nickel, copper and zinc elements, soil quality of İpsala District did not pose any risk except nickel detected in some stations and heavy metal contents of rice produced in İpsala District did not exceed the limit values specified by "Turkish Food Codex"}, number={1}, publisher={Anatolia Bilim Akademisi}
