Abstract: In this study, resilience characteristics of senior high school students wereanalyzed in terms of emotional expression. The sample of the present study included381 students. Resilience Scale and Berkeley Expressivity Scale was used to collectedof data. In result of the research, according to result of the structural equationalmodeling, resilience characteristics of students was predicted directly by expression, positive expressivity, negative expressivity, and impulse strength. In addition, positiveexpressivity, negative expressivity, and impulse strength predicted to resilience variablevia of emotional expression. The results further revealed that to be optimistic / life beingconnected, communication/relationship building, being researcher, emotional expression, positive expressiveness, negative expressiveness, and impulse intensity significantlydiffered due to gender. Results indicated that female students have these properties thanmale students.Anahtar Kelimeler: Yılmazlık, Duygusal Dışavurum, Dürtü Şiddeti, Yapısal EşitlikModeliKeyword: Resilience, emotional expressivity, impulse strength, and structuralequational modeling.
