The prokinetic drugs used for therapeutic purpose are used for motility restorations, coordination and stimulations of gastric, pyloric and small intestine. The agents which are indicated to be effective prokinetic provide transmissions in stomach, large & small intestines and changes of gastric emptying by stimulated contractions of smooth muscles. Prokinetic drugs covers specific drug group such as antidopaminerjik agents, serotonergic agents and antagonists of motilin receptor. The effect of motility regulators are not similar in studies which made for in vivo healthy animals and sick animals. It is believed that the prokinetic agent in a new class of drugs needed because of the less the response to symptomatic treatment, low prokinetic effect below expected level and have more side effects. In the future, more effective drugs will be found and it will also be assured that having conflicting data with more work to be done on prokinetic drugs UR - https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/bdhad/article/388381 L1 - https://dergipark.org.tr/en/download/article-file/416888 ER -
