N2  - This study’s aim is to examine how teacher candidates evaluate a Problem Based Learning (PBL) process on “heat and temperature”. It’s study which used mixed method. To this end, 13 physics teacher candidates who were sophomore were chosen on a volunteer basis by purposive sampling method. They were asked to evaluate a PBL scenario by a Likert survey and open-ended questions. Then, PBL sessions were performed for 5 weeks. Interviews were made during the process. At the end of the process they were asked to evaluate the process by the same method. Data was evaluated qualitatively via descriptive analysis. As a result, PBL activity has caused an improvement in self-confidence, motivation, performance and communication skills of them. They were disposed to use PBL approach in other units. Moreover, there was no significant correlation between the interviews made about scenario and PBL process and among the PBL process elements under its effect on attitude.
