The disappearing of the borders almost in every field cause a kind of rivalry between both the countries and the individuals. The rivalries in the production of the goods and the disappearing borders certainly have a great influence on education. As an important branch of education, the medical education is universal and a universal identity is required for its development. It is crucial to determine some basic standards in order to gain “basic universal qualification” in the education of medicine. Therefore, it is important to determine in what fields and how these standards can be materialized. The basic qualification for the graduates of medicine school should be also enough to achieve minimum basic universal necessities even though they are enough for the society in which the doctor will serve. At this point, the determination and application of international standards, the improvement of general standards of education, the mutual recognition of certificates seem to be crucial in order to make comparisons between institutions and evaluate the sufficiency of the Medicine Schools.}, number={2}, publisher={Bursa Uludağ University}
