Coronary artery disease. Coronary angiography}, abstract={In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the relationship between coronary collateral circulation development and clinical and laboratory parameters in patients who underwent coronary angiography at Uludağ University Hospital Cardiology Department with coronary artery disease. Between 01.01.2010 and 01.03.2011, among 50 patients with coronary collateral development and 50 patients with no collateral development who underwent coronary angiography and had more than 95% stenosis were investigated retrospectively. The 84% of patients were men. The age, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, obesity, smoking, family history, mean heart rate, blood LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglyceride and hemoglobin values, mean systolic and diastolic blood pressures, drug therapies with acetylsalisylic acid, clopidogrel, ACE inhibitors were not significantly different between the two groups (p>0,05). In the collateral development group, statin and β-blocker therapy was higher (p<0,05). Collateral circulation was found to develop mainly at the right coronary artery (RCA) with 26 patients and was statistically significant (p<0,05). Collateral development was mostly from the RCA and there was a statistical difference (p<0,05). In conclusion, it was found that the coronary collateral circulation development was more common in patients using statin and β-blocker therapies}, number={3}, publisher={Bursa Uludağ University}
