Squamous cell carcinoma}, abstract={Primary squamous-cell carcinoma of the breast is a quite rare tumor that is considered under the title of metaplastic carcinoma of the breast. Our case, a 44-year-old female patient, presented at the clinic complaining of a mass, pain and swelling in her right breast. The fine needle aspiration cytology was diagnosed as suspicious. Right quadrentectomy was performed in the surgery clinic. Then, organs where squamous-cell carcinoma may develop clinically were scanned, and no tumor was found in these foci. Histopathological, immunohistochemical and clinical/ radiologic signs, the patient was diagnosed with primary squamous-cell carcinoma of the breast (with an intra-cystic component). Lymph node dissection was performed in the patient as complementary surgery. No residual tumor and any sign of metastasis was found. The 44-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with a primary squamous-cell carcinoma in the right breast is reported due to its rarity and discussed with reference to literature data.}, number={1}, publisher={Bursa Uludağ University}
