Eucalyptus spp is the major environmental host of the yeast. In aim of the study is to screening of human-pathogen C.neoformans presence from Eucalyptus camaldulesis trees in touristical Karahayıt region in Denizli. By swap sampling technique, 117 samples from 37 trees were collected. All samples have cultured on Staib agar. In result, no C.neoformans has been cultured from sampledE.camaldulensis despite the excessive screening methods. Environmental human-pathogen yeast screenning procedures are important for preventive medicine especially for tourism centers and densely populated regions.
