district of Mardin in 2016 and 2017 were presented. A total of 35 species were
given in the Papilionidae (2), Pieridae (11), 
Satyridae (8), Argynnidae (4),
Lycaenidae (5) and Hesperiidae (5) families. Original reference, synonyms, and
examined materials were added for each species. All of the butterflies that are
presented are new to fauna of Savur district. However 6 species: &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Euchloe
ausonia &amp;lt;/i&amp;gt;(Hübner, [1804]), &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Pieris
brassicae &amp;lt;/i&amp;gt;(Linnaeus, 1758) (Pieridae), &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Melitaea
phoebe &amp;lt;/i&amp;gt;(Goeze, 1779) (Argynnidae), &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Plebejus
sephirus &amp;lt;/i&amp;gt;(Frivaldszky, 1835) (Lycaenidae), &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Carcharodus lavatherae &amp;lt;/i&amp;gt;(Esper, [1783]) and &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Eogenes
alcides &amp;lt;/i&amp;gt;Herrich-Schäffer,
