N2  - Environment protection, which supports life and includes protection of irreplaceable natural habitat and organisms, is becoming more and more important. It is expected that compatibility between EU and Turkish Environment Issues will not be possible with the current Environment Law which only includes general terms therefore investments to provide a compatibility will result in 50 billion Euros. In this study to solve environmental issues which eventually became one of the most important problems of the present; compensation of costs of environmental sources by companies in order to continue their ongoing applications, reduction of environment hazards, environmental investments and environmental responsibilites of companies are included. For this purpose results of questionaire done on companies acting in Izmir are evaluated.
