N2  - The aim of this study is to analyze the risk perception of the companies, their risk management policies and usage of financial derivative instruments. For this purposes, a survey was made to 58 active industrial companies in Denizli. According to the findings of this survey, most of the companies are being affected by exchange rate risk. And it is revealed in this survey that the tendency of companies usage of derivates aiming speculation is more. Furthermore, the analysis shows that the number of the companies using derivative financial instruments is low. Although the companies are aware of derivative instruments, most of them are reluctant to use them.
