N2  - Objective: To investigate the role of the secondary cytoreduction in patients with recurrent ovarian cancer.  Material and Methods: The patients who underwent secondary cytoreduction for recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer between 2002 and 2009 were analyzed retrospectively.  Results: There were overall 26 patients. Four patients were excluded from the analysis since the lack-of follow up data for one patient, secondary cytoreductive surgery at second look laparotomi (SLL) for two, and surgery within the 6 months of initial cytoreduction for the remaining one patient.  Conclusıon: It is not definite to the which of the patients the SSC can be beneficial. However, in the light of the several series, if the patients' morbidity and mortality rates are available, we think that SCC could be advisable for selected group of patients.
