Predicting their presence with routine office examination can be helpful on the choice of treatment method such as dilatation curettage or hysteroscopy. Material and Methods: A total of 496 patient biopsies screened in a 3 years period between 2012-2015. 118 postmenopausal patients included into the study. Symptoms and their clinical bacgrounds were studied if there is any relation to find out polyps. Results: Postmenopausal bleeding is found to be a significant symptom for patients with endometrial thickness >6mm (p<0.01). Conclusion: Our findings might be useful in reassuring concerned patient group with endometrial thickness over 6mm and especially if they present with postmenopausal bleeding, also will help practitioners to choose between treatment methods such as hysteroscopic removal or dilatation and curettage.
