N2  - As with all gynecologic malignancies, lymph node metastasis has  an adverse effect on survival. Most important risk factors for nodal involvement  include high histological grade, serous papillary or clear  cell histology, deep (>1/2) myometrial invasion, tumor size larger  than 2 cm and lower uterine segment involvement. In this case report,  we present a case of grade1 endometrioid type endometrial carcinoma  with none of these risk factors, who had not only retroperitoneal  lymph node metastasis at the time of initial diagnosis, but also had peritoneal  and retroperitoneal recurrence within 1 year of primary treatment.
