Blowing time, speed, and direction of wind can not be determined. Wind power plants (WPP) in the planning of electricit y generation depends on the meteorological data of wind at established in the region and time-bound. Studies on detecting the change in wind energy, and studies on production planning with real and highly reliable models are still going on. Modeling of the wind data with probability distribution functions is one of the studies in this area. Places to be invested with the technical potential of wind data shall be determined by modeling and production planning is performed. In this study, probability distribution functions, which are widely used in the field of wind power, are briefly summarized.
