This area formed in Roman Imperial times part of the eastern territory of Nicaea as well as the part of the southwestestern territory of Claudioupolis. No. 1 is a dedication toZeus Okonenos. The otherwise attested epitheton of the god is of Thracian origin and can be found as toponym (Ὀκαηνῶν κώμη) in the area of Taraklı not far from Göynük (INikaia 1201). The new dedication was erected by the Βολειναιωνκώμη, a toponym unattested so far. No.2 is the grave stone of Lucius Antonius Longus who obviously had the Roman citizenship. The grave altar no. 3 was set up byVeturia, daughter of Veturius, for herself and for her husband Nikephoros.Thesepulchralinscription no. 4 mentions the couple Iulia (daugthter of Macer) and Philagros.The grave monument no.5was erected by Arabianos for his wife Iuliane.
