Araştırmanın nicel ve nitel aşamalarına toplam30 zorunlu İngilizce hazırlık sınıfı öğrencisi katılmıştır. Öncelikle eldeedilen nicel veriler betimsel istatistik yöntemleri ve bağımlı gruplarda ttesti kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Sonrasında nitel veriler içerik analizinetabi tutulmuştur. Nicel verilerin analizi sonucunda zorunlu İngilizce hazırlıkprogramının öğrencilerin İngilizce öz-yeterlik algılarını akademik yıl başınagöre anlamlı düzeyde geliştirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Nicel verilerin analiziile elde edilen sonuçlar nicel sonuçları destekler niteliktedir. Araştırmasonuçları bir yıllık zorunlu İngilizce hazırlık programının öğrencilerinİngilizce öz-yeterlik algıları üzerindeki olumlu etkisini göstermektedir.
