N2  - In this article, theory of religion and approaches of sociological religion of Niklas Luhmann who is an important representative of system theory will be handled. Niklas Luhmann’s sociology of religion puts forward how to evaluate religion as a system. Lack of historical forms of any religion is seen in this theory which is studied in so abstract concept. The most important question of this system theory on the approach of religion is not accepting the human as a subject. Niklas Luhmann tries to solve this question with the method of psychical system; however, because of his general perspective of system, it comes face to face with some theoretical and practical gaps or questions in the non-organizational dimension of religious experience which cannot be reduced to language of social communication
