The participants` quality of life and sexual function level was measured with the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) and Short Form 36 Quality of Life Scale (SF-36) before and the first year after the operation.  </span> </p> <p class="StandardCxSpFirst" style="line-height:200%;"> <span style="font-size:12.6px;">Results: There were no significant differences on the participants` sexual function scores between preoperation, and the first year after the operation. Although there was an improvement in all of the sub-domain scores, only sexual desire scores decreased after the operations, but these results were not statistically significant. However, quality of life scores, in all sub-domains, significantly increased after the surgery except the vitality. The vitality scores of the participants decreased. </span> </p> <p class="StandardCxSpFirst" style="line-height:200%;"> <span style="font-size:12.6px;">Conclusion: There is no effect of laparoscopic hysterectomy on sexual functioning, and there is a positive effect on the quality of life in the 12-month follow-up. </span> </p> <div> <br /> </div>}, number={Ek 1}, publisher={Cukurova University}
