More specifically, in this study, the perceptions of research asistants towards science and scientific activities were comparatively analyzed in terms of status of assistantship (FDP-Faculty Development Program research assistant and department research assistant), gender and major fields (Natural Science, Social Science and Engineering). Survey method was employed and 347 research assistants working in a state university were participated in the study. Chi-Square Test was used to analyze the data.
