The study is a descriptive study. There search was carried out at the private hospital between March-May 2013. This study was conducted with 230 women who that agree to participate.The data were collected using the questionnaire developed by there searchers. In statistical analysis were using frequencies, means, Standard deviations, chi-square tests. Mean age rate of women was 29.43±4.56 years. The majority of women indicated that they preferred vaginal delivery (61.7%). This study is found that four out of every five women who giving birth proposed vaginaldelivery. The statistical evaluations demonstrated significant differences between groups in terms of the planned pregnancy, work status of women, educational status, get information on the delivery and methods of delivery (p<0.05). The most significant reasons of vaginal delivery preferred by women were determined to be “healthier for maternal/babies”, “safer than caesarean section delivery” and “a natural method”, on the otherhand, those preferred by women of caesarean section were determined to be “fear of delivery/delivery pain”, “doctor's advice” and “the presence of health problems of women”. Two-thirds of women who gave birth found that they were satisfied with their methods of birth.
