N2  - Lithium is a psychiatric medication commonly used in the treatment of bipolar disorder. It has been implicated in inducing nephrogenic diabetes inspidus, chronic tubulointerstisial nehpropaty and acute tubuler necrosis. We describe a case of lithium induced acute kidney injury.
