AB  - MEMET FUAT’IN ELEŞTİRİ ÜSTÜNEGÖRÜŞLERİ VEYA ÖZNEL BİR YARATICILIK OLARAK ELEŞTİRİÖZ Yazılarında, eleştirinin amacından, nasıl olmasıgerektiğinden ve eleştirmenlerin niteliğinden söz açan Memet Fuat; bütün karşıkoyuşlara rağmen Türkiye’de eleştirinin varlığının savunuculuğunu yapmaktadır.Öte yandan ise, Türkiye’de enikonu eleştirinin yapılamadığı düşüncesinin yaratılmasıhususunda eleştirmenleri suçlamaktadır. Bu hususta, eleştirinin niteliğiniarttırmak adına, kendi sanat anlayışı çerçevesinde birtakım öneriler getirme;Türkiye’de eleştirinin niteliğine hizmet eden bir standart ortaya koyarakeleştirinin metotlarını belirleme gayretindedir. Bu minvalde, eleştiriye veeleştirmene saygı gösterilebilmesine ve onların hak ettiği değeri görebilmesinehizmet etme yoluna gitmektedir. Aynı zamanda, büyük ölçüde eleştirinin sanatsalniteliğini göstermeye çalışmaktadır. Bu çerçevede Memet Fuat; Noel Carroll veEdward Said gibi eleştiriyi olumlamakta ve eleştiriyi çağdaş pratikte, sanatsalüretimin işlemesi için gerekli olan bir ara madde olarak görmektedir. Bu bağlamda,ilk olarak Noel Carroll ve Edward Said’in edebi eleştiri konusu üzerinegörüşlerinden söz açacağım. Bunun ardından Memet Fuat’ın Eleştiri Üstünekitabında ortaya konan eleştiri anlayışını, Noel Carroll ve Edward Said’edeğinmek suretiyle ve her birinin arasındaki paralelliklerin nasıl ve neşekilde kurulabileceğini göstererek açımlayacağım. Son olarak, Memet Fuat’ın,Noel Carroll ve Edward Said’le koşutluk arz ettiğini tespit ettiğim söz konusueleştiri anlayışını, nasıl ve ne derecede uyguladığını gösteren uygulamalı bireleştiri çalışmasıyla yazımı sonlandıracağım.Anahtar Kelimeler: Eleştiri, Memet Fuat, Noel Carroll, Edvard Said.MEMET FUAT’S OPINIONSON CRITICISMOR CRITICISM AS A SUBJECTIVE CREATIVITYABSTRACT Memet Fuat who spokes about the purpose of criticism,how criticism should be, and the nature of critics in his writings; despite allrejections, advocates the existence of criticism in Turkey. On the other hand,he blames critics for the creation of the idea that criticism cannot be practicedin Turkey. In this respect, in order to increase the quality of criticism, hemakes an effort to bring some suggestions within the framework of his artisticunderstanding, and to determine themethods of criticism by suggesting a standart serving the quality of criticism.In this manner, he resorts serving that criticism and critics can be respectedand they can see value which they deserve. In the same time, he tries to showthe artistic qualities of criticism to a large extent. Within this scope, likeNoel Carroll and Edward Said, Memet Fuat affirms criticism and sees it as anecessary intermediate for the process of artistic production in contemporarypractice. In this context, first of all, I will talk about the opinions of NoelCarroll and Edward Said on the subject of literary criticism. Thereafter, Iwill expound Memet Fuat’s understanding of criticism revealed in his book On Criticism by mentioning Noel Carrolland Edward Said and by indicating how and in what way can be drawn theanalogies between each of them. Finally, I will conclude with one of the MemetFuat’s practical critiques that shows how Memet Fuat applies the concept ofcriticism which I have found that it is parallel to Noel Carroll and EdwardSaid.Keywords: Criticism, Memet Fuat, Noel Carroll, Edward Said.
