AB  - Son on yılda Sosyal Bilgiler ve Tarih derslerinin öğretiminde yereltarih, sözlü tarih, tarihsel empati, kanıt temelli tarih öğretimi gibi alanahas öğretim yöntemleri de ön plana çıkmaya başlamıştır. Ulusal tarihinötesinde, yerel tarih bir şehrin ya da ilçenin tarihini ve akla gelebilecek tümkültürel özelliklerini incelemeyi kapsamaktadır. Bu çerçevede okuldüzeyinde kullanılabilecek yerel tarih öğretimi yaklaşımı, öğrencinin yaşamalanı içerisinde yer alan tarihsel bir eserin/şahsiyetin, geçmişinin birinci veikinci elden eserler kullanılarak araştırılması ve sınıf arkadaşlarına, öğrencivelilerine ya da yaşanılan bölge insanına sunulması etkinlikleri bütünüdür.Yeni olması nedeniyle yerel tarih ve sözlü tarih öğretimi, ortaokul ya da lisedüzeyinde çok da etkin kullanılamamakta olup nitelikli örneklerin artmasınagereksinim duyulmaktadır. Bu çerçevede araştırmanın amacı, lise öğrencilerininsaptanan ölçütleri göz önünde bulundurarak Üsküdar temelinde yerel ve sözlütarih çalışmaları yapmalarını ve yaptıkları bu araştırmayı belgesel halindesunmalarını sağlamaktır. Araştırma nitel biraraştırma olup eylem araştırması desenine göre şekillendirilmiştir.Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İstanbul’un Üsküdar ilçesinde görev yapan 3 tarihöğretmeni ile projeye katılan 24 öğrenci (13 erkek ve 11 kız) oluşturmaktadır.Çalışmaya katılan öğrenciler Üsküdar’da bulunan bir devlet lisesine devametmekte olup öğrencilerin 2’si 10. sınıf ve 22’si ise 11. sınıf öğrencileridir.Öğrencilerin tamamı çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılmışlardır. Yerel tarih vesözlü tarih çalışması çerçevesinde öğrenciler, Üsküdar ilçesinin tarihi açıdanönemli ve çok da bilinmeyen bir değerini birinci ve ikinci elden yazılı (kitap,makale, ansiklopedi, hatırat, bildiri metni) ve görsel kaynaklara (fotoğraf, resim,tablo, film, karikatür gibi) ulaşarak incelemişlerdir. Bunlardan başka İstanbulve Üsküdar üzerine yazan araştırmacı, tarihçi ve Üsküdarlı halk ile görüşmelerve röportajlar yaparak farklı kaynaklardan veriler toplamışlardır. Buverilerden yola çıkarak öğrenciler öncelikle sözlü tarih de içeren yerel tarihödevini yazılı olarak çalışmışlar; bu çalışmayı merkeze alarak 20-25 dakikaarasında bir belgesel de çekmişlerdir. Araştırmanın veri toplama araçlarıarasında “yazılı yerel tarih ödevi”, “belgesel”, ön ve son algı anketleri,öğrenci ve öğretmen günlükleri yer almaktadır. Öğrenciler tarafından hazırlananyazılı ödevler ve belgeseller geliştirilen rubrik (derecelendirme ölçeği)temelinde analiz edilmiştir. Bunun dışındaki diğer veri toplama araçlarının analizindenitel veri analiz yöntemlerinden içerik analizi kullanılmıştır.0000-0001-6039-0096

N2  - Overthe past decade, teaching methods in the field such as local history, oralhistory, historical empathy, evidence-based history teaching has also come tothe forefront in the teaching of Social Studies and History courses. Beyondnational history, local history involves examining the history of a city or acity and all the cultural characteristics that might come to mind. The approachto local history teaching that can be used at school level in this framework isthe whole of the activities of the historical work/personality included in thestudent's living space, the research of the past using works from first andsecond hand and the presentation to classmates, student parents or livedpeople. Because of its newness, local history and oral history teaching cannotbe used effectively at secondary or high school level and there is a need forincreased qualified samples. The purpose of the research in this framework isto make local and oral history studies on the basis of Üsküdar considering thecriteria determined by high school students and to submit this research indocumentary form.The research was a qualitative research and wasshaped according to the pattern of action research. The study group consists of24 students (13 boys and 11 girls) who participated in the project with 3history teachers working in Üsküdar district of Istanbul. Studentsparticipating in the study continue to a state high school in Üsküdar, 2 ofwhich are 10th grade students and 22 of which are 11th grade students. All ofthe students voluntarily participated in the study. Within the context of localhistory and oral history studies, students will be able to see the importantand very unknown values of the history of Üsküdar in a first and second hand(book, article, encyclopedia, memoir, papers) and visual resources(photographs, pictures). Apart from these, the researcher who writes onIstanbul and Üsküdar gathered data from different sources by interviewing andinterviewing historians and Üsküdar people. Starting from these data, thestudents first worked in writing the local history homework including the oralhistory; they took a documentary about 20-25 minutes taking this work as thecenter. Data collection tools of the research include "written localhistory projects", "documentary", preliminary and postperception questionnaires, student and teacher diaries. Written assignments anddocuments prepared by the students were analyzed on the basis of developedrubrics (rating scale). In the analysis of other data collection tools otherthan this, content analysis was used from qualitative data analysis methods.
