While urban parks have important roles on life quality of those who live in urban areas, they also have many different functions. Urban parks, which are designed to have edible landscapes inside, make it possible for those who live in urban areas to feel comfortable making them feel close to the nature and create an emotional relation with the users. Apart from this, they make a great contribution to awareness of ecology and environmental conservation. Furthermore, edible landscapes can be added to existing urban parks by some rehabilitation studies following some design principles. Main purpose of this study is to evaluate three different urban parks in Trabzon regarding their edible plant potentials by questioning the users’ approaches. From this point of view, this understanding is intended to be widely adopted by the user and to provide a great opportunity for transition to more sustainable food systems and urban land uses.

}, number={4}, publisher={Mevlüt AKÇURA}
