KW - Irritable Bağırsek Sendromu KW - Beslenme KW - FODMAPs KW - D vitamini KW - Prebiyotikler ve Probiyotikler N2 - Irritablebowel syndrome (IBS) is a functional bowel disease characterized by a change inintestinal motility, the cause of which is unknown. The incidence of IBS insocieties varies between 10-25%. IBS, which is not a life-threatening disease, has many symptoms, such as abdominal pain or discomfort in the abdomen, diarrhea, constipation and bloating, which significantly affect the quality oflife. Since IBS is idiopathic, treatment with IBS is designed to alleviatesymptoms. All these symptoms, which greatly affect the quality of life, can beexacerbated or diminished depending on the individual's eating habits. In thisreview, it is aimed to provide an overview of nutritional therapy and currentnutritional therapy approaches in irritable bowel syndrome. For this purpose, the efficacy of FODMAPs diet, vitamin D, prebiotic and probiotic supplements inIBS nutritional therapy was investigated.
